Step back 152 years to this spot and discover the world of the Civil War battlefield surgery and care of the dead as was done after the 1864 skirmish at Oakley. 

The Home Front – Saturday June 11th – 10am-4pm
Discover life for the inhabitants of Oakley during the Civil War.  Take a taste of ersatz coffee or tea and see what folk cures took over from medicine of the time.
