Come out and have a great time getting up close and personal with the beautiful little wonders.  The Feliciana Hummingbird Celebration will begin at 7am and last till 3pm.  Join Nancy and Linda as they teach us all about these birds.  The two sites are Carlyle Rogillio’s on Tunica Trace and Murrell Butler’s on Oak Hill Rd.  Signs will be up to help with directions to these two beautiful habitats.  Maps are also located on http://www.stfrancisvillefestivals.com/features/feliciana-hummingbird-celebration/fhc-map

AUDUBON STATE HISTORIC SITE PRESENTS
JANE AUSTEN SCHOOL FOR YOUNG LADIES

Create your own experience in living history during Jane Austen School for Young Ladies at Audubon State Historic Site on Saturday September 16th from Noon until 3 PM.

Step back into the early 19th century at Audubon State Historic Site and experience life for young ladies in 1821.  Activities will include speaking with the fan, etiquette, and making bath salts that you can take home.

Audubon State Historic Site is the setting for the 200-year-old Oakley House, temporary home and inspiration to John James Audubon in the 1800s. The park includes a museum, picnic areas, pavilion and nature trail. Please be aware Oakley House and historic buildings are currently closed for renovation. Placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1973, the park is open daily Wednesday through Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., except Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years Day.
