St. Francisville, La.: Whether it's the sights of our historic district buildings, homes and unique shops, the beauty of many historic plantation homes, the art of local artists and past resident John James Audubon, the sounds from the local musicians at our festivals and birds during the spring migration, the wonderful tastes from our numerous restaurants, or the smells of unspoiled outdoors, St. Francisville and West Feliciana Parish of Louisiana has something to entertain your senses. A place of legends, civil war and culture, maintains its rich historical integrity in this small historic town in an unique place of Louisiana.

PRESS RELEASE:

Celebration of Literature and Art announce the 2015 featured authors for the Writers and Readers Symposium, award winners all: California mystery writer Abigail Padgett whose most recent book is set in St. Francisville, New Orleans novelist and short story writer Moira Crone, Louisiana Poet Laureate Ava Hayman, and the gifted photographer/writer Richard Sexton whose latest release explores and illustrates with dreamy images the Creole connections of New Orleans with the Latin Caribbean. Moderating this day-long program of individual and panel discussions with audience participation will be Carolyn Thornton; authors mingle with guests during lunch and will have autographed books available for purchase.
