Jackson Hall at 7pm, the Women's Service League will be hosting Merlot and Masterpieces. Guest artist Elizabeth Leake Mackey will instruct you to paint your own Masterpiece. Art supplies and food will be provided, you bring your own wine. A Silent Auction will display artwork by local artists. THE LIFE OF JESUS CHRIST at Angola on May 3, 4, and 5, 2012
Gates open at 9am, play starts at 10am. This two hour play, as performed by a cast of offenders from Louisiana State Penitentiary and Louisiana Correctional Institute for Women depicts the complete story of Jesus' life and resurrection. These performances will be presented as a live outdoor event of the grounds of Louisiana State Penitentiary-Angola.
