Mother's Day Weekend

THURSDAY MAY 3, 2011 10am The opening of the John James Audubon Bridge.  This is so cool!  With the opening of the bridge we would like to bid farewell to the St. Francisville ferry and we would like to thank the ferry workers for always taking us across the Mississippi River safely.  We will miss the ferry.   With the high waters of the Mississippi River there is some flooding around the parish, the following roads are closed Solitude Low Water Bridge, Cat Island Road and the River Road at the Tunica Landing for more information please call Tommy Boyett 225 635 6428   FRIDAY MAY 4, 2011 Music at Magnolia Café – SOUL SHINE 7:30pm   SATURDAY-MAY 5, 2011 An Evening of Women in Music   7:00pm at The Birdman  There will be a $6.00 cover charge.  Come listen to Nancy Roppolo and Jodi James.   SUNDAY-MAY 6, 2011 Happy Mother’s Day to all.  The following restaurants will be open: Birdman from 8am until 5pm Carriage House will offer a special menu for Mothers and Children from 11am until 2pm Eight Sisters from 11am until 6pm Feliciana Seafood Magnolia Café from 10am until 4pm Oxbow from 11am until 2pm Sonnys Pizza from 4pm-9pm South of the Border 11am until 3pm The Bluffs will be open from Brunch – reservations only 11am until 3pm   We have some great events coming up in May.
