SHOP THE NIGHT AWAY THURSDAY DECEMBER 16, 2010
The following stores will be open from 5:30pm-8:30pm to meet all of your shopping needs, they will offer samples, tastings, free gift wrap and great friendly customer service, park right in front, and guess what it will be fun to.   The Birdman, Sage Hill, Hill Country Smokehouse, Hillcrest, Ins N Outs, The St. Francisville Inn's Wine Parlor, A Few of My Favorite Things, Bohemianville Antiques, The Shanty Too, Grandmothers Buttons, Harrington Gallery, Backwoods Gallery, St. Francis Arts  Antiques, Patrick's Fine Jewelry and the Historical Society Museum Shop. 
 
CHRISTMAS AT ROSEDOWN DECEMBER 18 & 19, 2010
 
Rosedown will host its annual Christmas celebration from 9am until 5pm.  They will demonstrate 19th century arts and crafts throughout the plantation complex.  The Main House will be dressed in period decoration and hear stories of Christmas traditions at Rosedown that were passed down through the Turnbull and Bowman families.  They will have period music and dancing, candlemaking, spinning, quilting, shaving horse and hayrides.  For more information call 225 635 3332.

SHOP THE NIGHT AWAY

Good Morning

 

Thursday December 9, 2010 will be our First SHOP THE NIGHT AWAY in St. Francisville.  Our shops are opening for evening shopping from 5:30pm-8:30pm.  This is a great time to start or finish your Christmas shopping.  There will be samplings, specials, free gift wrap, tastings and much much more. 
 
Here's the list of shops:  Birdman, Sage Hill, Hill Country Smokehouse, Hillcrest, Ins N Outs, Patricks Fine Jewelry, St. Francisville Inn's Wine Parlor, A Few of My Favorite Things, Grandmothers Buttons, Harrington Gallery, The Shanty Too, Historical Society Museum, Backwoods Gallery, Bohemianvile Antiques, and St. Francis Arts and Antiques.
 
The weather will be perfect, the town looks magical dressed for Christmas, hope to see you out.  Our thanks go out to the St. Francisville Main Street and the St. Francisville Chamber of Commerce for their support.

Happenings

It will be a SAINTsational Christmas in St. Francisville this weekend.
 
Congratulations and Good Luck to the West Feliciana High School Saints this Friday night aganist Patterson, we will be cheering you on.
 
The White Lights are beautiful downtown, it is truly magical.  The weather looks perfect so here we go with Christmas in the Country.
 

FRIDAY-DECEMBER 3, 2010

 

1:00pm-5:00pm Women's Service League will sell Fresh Wreaths and Plantation Country (Pre-wrapped) Cookbooks-Ferdinand St
5:30pm-First Baptist Church Children's Choir will sing on the front porch of Town Hall - Ferdinand Street
6:00pm- West Feliciana Middle School Choir – will sing on the front lawn of the Town Hall – Ferdinand Street

Mayor Billy D'Aquilla will light the Town of St. Francisville Christmas Tree and will host a Welcome Reception, Fireworks and a special visitor to make that Christmas Wish to!!!
6:00pm-8:00pm - Peep into our Holiday Homes - participating homes will have a sign indicating participation. Ferdinand & Royal St.
7:00pm- Baton Rouge Symphony and Dessert Reception at HEMINGBOUGH.  Tickets available at Bank of St.Francisville.
